Design story

Vintage attitude, sharpened for now.

Astor is a retro cat-eye design reimagined through the KUGO lens — a frame where vintage glamour meets a cleaner, more wearable kind of modern confidence.

Crafted from high-quality glossy black bio-acetate and finished with wooden sides, the silhouette feels striking from every angle. The thick cat-eye front tapers outward into lifted outer points, creating that unmistakable line of retro elegance while maintaining a sturdy, fashion-led presence.

Despite its bold profile, Astor remains lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear, making it a versatile statement piece that moves easily between elevated styling and everyday expression.

Why it stands out

Lifted. Polished. Effortlessly striking.

Cat-eye silhouette

A timeless cat-eye shape with lifted outer edges that adds elegance, definition and unmistakable attitude.

Glossy black bio-acetate

High-shine black bio-acetate gives the frame its rich depth, strong outline and polished visual finish.

Wooden side detail

Wooden sides soften the bold front with natural texture, bringing warmth into a more fashion-forward silhouette.

Sunset lens benefit

Made for calmer evenings.

The Standard 550 sunset lens blocks blue and green light up to 550 nm, the strongest evening filter in the KUGO range, so screens and indoor light look warm and dim in the last 2–3 hours before bed. Prefer a softer tint? Choose a Premium 550, 530 or 500 lens, made to order.
