Materials:

Wood

Wood is a living organism. Although it seems that his life in the forest is ending at first glance, the opposite is true. That's when he starts living. Wood embodies traditions and culture. It is the oldest building material; it attracts carvers and lovers of minimalism and nature. Wood from individual woods differs in color, structure, and properties.

Types of wood used by KUGO Glasses

OAK

The properties of oak wood are exciting today. However, in the second half of the last century, people discovered synthetic materials, and the idea began to spread that manufactured products would replace wooden equipment both indoors and outdoors. However, the trend was only temporary, and nowadays, one appreciates natural materials.
Compared to other types of hardwood, oak wood is the most resistant to weather conditions, which is why its properties have been sought after for years. A unique feature of oak wood is its reaction to moisture and water due to its durability. Due to the closed-cell structure, Oakwood withstands the alternation of humidity and dryness. The most important properties of oak wood are strength, adequate hardness, and, of course, durability, which has always been an important criterion. In terms of durability, oak is classified as a very durable wood, which withstands the effects of changes in the air.

ROSE

When choosing wood and looking for helpful information, you can turn to terms such as a pink or purple tree, rosewood, Sheesham, or Dalbergia. Know then that we are talking about the rose. It is characterized by high density, good acoustic properties, and exceptional coloration. High density (850 kg / m3) means higher hardness, and although hardwood is harder to work with, it has a more excellent design and longer life. The exceptional color range is the motto of rosewood - the color varies depending on the subspecies. It changes from brown-orange through red-brown with subtle purple undertones to deep red.

WALNUT

Walnut wood is firm, hard (only slightly softer than oak wood), but at the same time flexible, well-shaped, and considered very valuable. The color of the wood has the privilege of multicolored drawing - a white-gray color with yellow spots in the white, while the core is dark brown to dark red and markedly separated from the white. After all, even the old mothers mention how much they had to pay for walnut furniture.
Currently, the trend is that the demand for walnut wood will be much higher than the supply, which predicts that walnut wood will become unique.
