Since 2018, we have tested and measured hundreds of lenses from multiple vendors in order to define what a true KUGO lens should be. Every lens in our collection is selected with a focus on optical quality, durability, visual comfort, and light management that fits modern life.
KUGO lenses are developed to meet high standards for scratch resistance, dirt repellency, improved cleanability, water repellency, long-term durability, and visual comfort. We also use double-sided anti-reflective treatment to help reduce unwanted secondary reflections and preserve a cleaner visual experience.
Lens Categories
The KUGO collection is divided into three main categories: Blue Light Management Lenses, Sun Lenses, and Clear Lenses. Each category serves a different purpose and follows a different production logic, depending on whether the lens is ready to wear or custom-made in premium laboratory production.

Sunset Lenses
As the sun goes down, your brain naturally expects warmer, lower-energy light. Exposure to shorter wavelengths after sunset can suppress melatonin and delay the body’s natural evening transition. KUGO sunset lenses are designed to support a calmer visual environment during the evening.
KUGO 550
Maximum Evening Protection

KUGO 550 is the strongest evening lens in the KUGO range. It blocks blue and green light up to 550 nm, making it ideal for late evening use, digital screens before bed, and stronger light control before sleep.
It is available either as a Standard ready-to-wear lens or as a Premium custom-made lens.

Sun Lenses
KUGO sun lenses are always Premium and always custom made. They are available with UV400 protection, with or without prescription, and can be ordered with polarization or without polarization.

Sport Sunglasses
KUGO also offers a dedicated sport solution designed for lightweight performance and flexibility. The standard setup includes an ultralight sport UV400 lens and an additional black replacement lens with UV400 protection and polarization.
Prescription can also be fitted into the inner clips of the sport model.

Replacement Black Polarized Lens
